When we were younger, out parents and teachers always told us to use the buddy system; find a friend! well i think the same thing goes for weight loss. its always easier to motivate yourself when you have someone by your side doing the same thing, because you know that they get it, and they understand the stuggle. Also, your not doing it alone!
I just commented on someones post with this same story: I used to live in the dorms at college, and i was dorming with a very good friend of mine, who also wanted to lose weight. it was awesome, because wed go grocery shopping and make sure we only had healthy stuff in our dorm. we'd do work out videos together. wed also eat at the dining hall together to make sure we could both say to each other "um, that food is terrible for you, dont eat that!". we could go running together too, and just support each other! then when she switched colleges and was over an hour away, i found it really hard to stick to my goals because i was on my own.
deffinitly use the buddy system, and find someone who has the same goals as you. I see a lot of people on this site who are looking for new friends to use the buddy system with, and i think it's awesome! im really excited to meet some new people, and use the buddy system myself!
