I went to an interview yesterday and it was just all I could think about for the past few days! I went and met with a wonderful woman who introduced me to a whole other world for someone like me. I would not be doing anything that I'm already used to and comfortable with professionally, it would be a whole new ballgame. She was pretty upfront and told me she was already very impressed and only asked me one question during the "interview." She took me around and even introduced me to lots of staff, and said she'd give me a call when she could confirm an interview with the director of the hospital.
The other job opportunity's contact called this morning and assured me that he was trying his best to schedule an interview with me as soon as possible (again, sometime this week). So, it looks like my life will be changing soon... I hope I can keep up and stay focused on the clean eating and time for exercise - especially if I get a position that has 84 hours a week!! I feel so much better after that first interview and hope the confidence only helps me during the next few interviews until I choose a position that will keep me busy for the next few years!!
Other than that, I've been able to stay active and keep my eating relatively healthy... Most days are in the appropriate ranges and I continue to try and find activities to help keep me moving, whether in the yard, in the home, or out in the community. I've found that music really helps to keep my mind off my body's complaints and really helps keep me going during exercise/walking/etc.
Here's wishing everyone a super fabulous rest of the week!! :)
