I'm really struggling right now. I have gained about 15 pounds and weigh more than I ever have. I don't know what is wrong with me. I know what to do but it's almost like I just don't care anymore. Yesterday it really hit home when I had to return a shirt that just 2 months ago would have been a perfect fit but now I can't even button. Is it time to throw in the towel and just give up? IDK. I just know I am so sick of feeling like this but I just can't find the energy to take care of me. I hope things get better.

My husband is getting fitted for his "leg" today! So I do have that to look forward to. He's doing great, I just wish I was.

    Don't give up!!! We all have times when we're not able to give 100% and get frustrated with our lack of progress. Try going back to the basics of what made you successful before and you'll be soundly back on track before you know it!

    I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing either. What has helped me is to track my food and fitness using the SP trackers. Even though I have been/am frustrated, at least by tracking I feel somwhat in control.

If you are not already tracking, this may help you too emoticon

    HI Hon !!! Hang in here with the Dawgs,,, I had just gained over 4 or 5 months, 20 lbs,,,,, but, am FINALLY starting to go back down,,,it was ALL Stress and like urself Jaci , I also just did NOT care. I had WAY to much going on to care, for like you, i was taking care of my family and I simply had NO TIME for "me". Now after all this time,, my fam is FINALLY being taken care of,,, remember how I told you about the crisis line? I got a hold of them for ME !!! They helped me for a whole month, helped me to see "I" needed the help me to take care of them. So we worked HARD ON ME !!! So now I am AGAIN feeling like the HAPPY Diane again, like MYSELF again, so free again, easy going and RELAXED once more,,,,,, and again I can handle my fam's problems without freaking out. LOL one came to me on Mon,,,I WOULD OF TERRIBLY of freaked out a month ago, now "its so easy to handle, as if its nothing". So yes, thats why I recommended that line to you Jaci. It has made ALL the diff in the world to me, along with my therapist. WOW DO I FEEL GOOD again hon. Is this possible for you? Well thats UP TO YOU to try ,,, there are NO answers to this, unless you try hon. They are soo used to this, I could NOT thank them enough. Am I "pushing this" on you? NO NOT AT ALL for we each move on our own speeds. U may not be ready. Just knowing they are out there is enough.

I will ask that you please not leave the team, who's a support for you. We DO care about you,,, are HERE for you hon. Its hard I am sure. Will it turn around,,, it about almost does,,,, sounds like it probably is on the brink as it is,,, from ur words,,but, if not,, ,thats OK Jaci, we are HERE WITH YOU for we've ALL been where you are hon. Just hang on in with us, keep on blogging and letting us know whats what so we can keep up with you. Know ur in our thoughts and prayers. We are struggling along sides you hon,,, none of us is doing this "perfectly" either sweetie,, none of us. A caring friend,,, who while losing some, still also goes UP on scale some at times,,,, Diane,,,,, no one is perfect hon,,, if your not already tracking daily,,,IF and ONLY if you can face it,,,, "IF" ONLY IF you can face it,,,for it may may to much on you at this point,,, try doing that first. Keep in contact with Moni and I ,,, we are both trained with the other leaders and MANY on the team, to help you. ALL on the team CARE and SO WILLING to help you with the support and knowlege.

    Do NOT give up. Sure, you're having a hard time right now but it'll get better. We all go through stages when we are depressed, aren't loosing weight like we want, life keeps getting us down, etc. But you'll get through this. Even if you just go for a walk, get outside. Listen to the birds. See new or old friends. We're behind you all the way and know that you'll eventually make your goal.

    I am up about the same since February. I have a different kind of stress going on but it is stress all the same. We need to start doing more for ourselves but that is easier said than done. You are not alone.Hugs!!

    You have been going through so much with your DH and you seem to be more stressed about the situation than he is. You need to take care of you before you really get ill. Just start over with baby steps and take things one day at a time. Do things that are just for you and no one else. You can do this and always remember that you are so worth it!!. Don't give up on yourself!!!

    Focus on some thing else other than the weight. Just plan to go for a 10 min walk. call a friend. As you feel glad for your Hubby do something that makes you happy.

    Are you feeling stressed? Sometimes it helps me to just start doing tiny little things for myself, like drinking from a pretty tea cup or bathing a hot bubble bath, put on some lotion. Tiny little moments just for me seem to work miracles and I start doing more for myself. Hope you feel better soon.

    I know the feeling about the weight gain. I'm at my highest weight again too. You have been so busy taking care of everyone else you forgot to put yourself on the list! Warm weather is here now, hopefully we can both get outside and start getting some of this weight off of us! I will keep you in my prayers Jaci! Hugs, MIndy
