Video -brother in law heads a group doing surgeries in Central America

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

The beginning of the video shows how many people benefit from this each time they make a trip--at present spring and fall. Later in the video are individual people who have been helped by the surgeries. Devin is seen in a blue outfit and a colorful cap walking to the left. He is in a couple of other frames, harder to spot. I think in one he is approaching a van to pack up.

A few years ago, his hospital group doing this was part of a much larger group of surgeons, nurses, etc.

Eventually his group found it adventitious to separate from the larger group,
still doing the same kind of work.

He is not a surgeon. He gets everything arranged so the surgeons can accomplish this wonderful work. He, himself, has worked in hospitals in various positions related to keeping those complicated electronic machines humming and also doing things like planning areas of the hospital or even new additions for , say, an additional MRI.

His wife has gone with him sometimes. Now his oldest son (of 3) is going with him. His wife is getting her nursing degree so she can more fully participate.

Cool, huh! Chris

Thank you for sharing. I loved the little teeny boy that was shaking hands. What a cutie. Very glad that woman was able to have the tumor removed from her face. That must have been painful.
