Walk at the Open Air Base

Monday, May 14, 2012

Rain was forecasted for today, but it turned out to be a sunny, humid day. When my sister 1st called me to go for a walk, I'd just gotten home from work and hadn't had lunch yet, so she went alone. I was surprised and happy when she called me back in late afternoon and asked if I'd been out for my walk yet. I hadn't. So off we went, me for my 1st walk and she for her 2nd.

Just a couple weeks ago, everything was brown. It's great to see things becoming green again.

Awesome! I have never seen the tri lobed flower before what is it? Great photos! You sure have one wonderful sister looking after you to make sure you get out for your walks! My sister and I never did one thing together but it didn't help we have always lived far apart as she moved to another city as soon as she was of legal age to do so. I was 16 at home with Mom when she left.
Keep on enjoying those fabulous trails! Look forward to seeing them with you!
