coming back to what has worked in the past...

It's interesting... admitting that sometimes I can't do things on my own.

I have been good with the diet and mindful about working out, but I have stayed the same about for the last 90 days. I still have 30 pounds that I want to lose to reach my goal.

I really have to admit that it was the support of others from this site - reading other peoples blogs, commenting on their ups and downs, that really kept me reaching for my own goals. I have to admit I haven't done much of reaching for my own goals that last 90 days....

Every day is a new beginning and today I make the choice to get back on the path on my self improvement and to reaching my goals.

Thank you to all those that blog and share their stories on here. I can't express in words how much it truly motivates me and points me in the directions of my own dreams.

Thank you!!! emoticon

Good for you for not losing focus. These plateaus can be so frustrating at times but keep pushing, YOU WILL BE REWARDED!

BTW, you might consider reviewing your meal plan. Increased cardio time requires more energy and it may be possible that you need to increase your calories to allow your body to start losing weight again. I know it sounds crazy but I encountered the same issue many months ago. Once I increased my calories I started losing weight again!

I too lost focus. I lost 35 pounds with Sparkpeople between January & July 2010. I managed to keep it off when I decided to home school my son from August to the following May. Then I got a job that requires me to travel an hour one way. I stopped checking my weight, didn't schedule time to exercise, and got into the habit of having lunch out with my co-workers. Add in all the birthday cakes, meeting donuts and Starbucks stops, and 25 pounds crept back on. I'm back on here again, religiously tracking my food, and working out 4x a week at a gym that is on my way home. I've already lost 8 pounds. It's hard to admit that we need to use tools like Spark and that we need the support of others, but if that's what it takes, so be it! Good luck!

Sometimes we just need a break to refocus our energy; whether it's dieting, working, or living life day to day. Get that focus back and attack those 30 lbs with renewed vigor!
