I've been thinking about the 365 day cardio streak that I completed recently and how far to go with it. As you notice by the header, today is the 381st day of the streak and I've been continuing daily cardio while deciding. I've changed my SparkPage and decided that the goal should be 500 days.
I woke just a little before dawn today and had one scrambled egg and about four cups of no-name water while I logged on to SP and collected a few points. I then headed out the door.
On a different note, I've been wondering how I would do on my ten minute challenge since I technically have not done it in a couple of months. After the warm up, I did a ten minute 'run' which produced a result of 1.06 miles. That's an improvement over when I was tracking 0.88 to 0.90 mile only a few months ago. It's Progress!
I did a cool down walk followed by a stretch then I went back in the house. After a little computer work, I had oatmeal and drank some more water. Around 1000hrs I decided to go back out and jog a few miles. I finished 3.0 miles in 35 minutes and followed that with a cool down walk.
Back in April, I signed up for the Walk Across America Challenge and began tracking my distance. As of this morning, my total distance is 120.20 miles which is the total for all running/jogging/and walking since April 15th. I'll begin putting the cumulative distance on my header at least once a week, or perhaps I'll continue it on a daily basis.
