Life's Challenges

Monday, May 14, 2012

My oldest is expecting and for many reasons this is not the appropriate time, but we can not do anything about it now. Just sharing. Feels like a hard day so I had to write to release.

_____________________

I didnít imagine that for you.
Wait.
I didnít pray that for you
But Iíll keep praying,
I know in time, His time.
Youíll make it right.

I trust and believe in you.
Him too.
I need you to, too!
Itís no fun where you are right now.
Itís not supposed to be.
I guess you took a wrong turn somewhere,
But now that youíre thereÖLets make the best of it.

Itís your journey.
Iíll check in from time to time.
Iíll be that kind word-or not so kind word.
The one(s) youíve heard over and over again.
Iíll be that voice of reason and no matter the season,
Iíll always be there.

Maybe not the way you want me to, but Iíll be there.

I only want the best for you.
I know youíll make it through.
You have to.
You are a part of me!

Mama didnít raise no foolsÖ(at least not a fool for too long).

Pull it together so we can get to the fun part!

Love Always,

Mom

MRSBLAK, mine is almost 25 and it's been challenging for the last 10 years. You do get tired and have to Let God do it! That's what I'm doing right now. Letting Go and Letting God!

Thank you.

I can relate on sooooo many levels....

There's no book on "Raising our Kids" we do the best we can; we get them grown; we nourish & love em.... there comes a time when we have to let them go We've done our Job its now time for them to put to use what they've been taught, and guess what they Forget (lol) but eventually it comes back to them.

As a Wise Woman once told me
Love them right, wrong or from afar all we can do is Love Them

Step back, Let God Do It!!!!

I played that song ALOT when my oldest thought she was grown now 22yrs old she understands why I had to LET GOD DO IT!, otherwise I'd have killed the child (lol) figurately of course

It is a hard day for you and I feel for you...... our children often make decisions that we don't agree with but you are being a wonderful supportive mother,,,,, you are disappointed but not defeated..... hopefully this will be a learning experience for her and all we can do is keep her in our thoughts and prayers..... Sending you hugs....... emoticon
