I have several health issues that are a direct result of being overweight. . .and it is amazing how just 15 lbs of weight loss and consistent exercise is helping with them:
Cholesterol down to 143 (last check 175; I'm on cholesterol meds so a goal for me is to get OFF the meds. . .doc says we can try when I am in a normal weight range)
Plantar fasciitis/heel pain--much better!
Knee pain with deep knee bends--much better; stronger knees!
Reflux/singing problems--much better!
Hopefully when I get to healthy weight that will help the blood pressure too (on meds for that).
So it is encouraging what just 15 lbs can do. I am blogging this to help me stay motivated. . .I hope it motivates someone else too! I have NEVER been an exerciser (except for a half-hour walking the dog most days), but Coach Nicole is the best and I can do it with her. Thank you Lord.
