I'm fixing up a small three-bedroom house to use as a short-term rental, and have decided to make one of the bedrooms into an exercise room. After reading an article here about what would be good for a home gym, I was delighted to see I already have several of the items. Here's what helps me work up a sweat in my home gym:
*exercise bike with various modes
* two-pound ankle weights
*five-pound hand weights
*DVD player with Leslie Sansone and Richard Simmons vids
Since the house is a fixer-upper, it'll be a while before it's ready to rent, and I'm kinda enjoying having my own private workout haven in the meantime. Gives a new meaning to "sweat-equity"!
