Ok, here is my Primal Snack Mix. I used this A LOT when I was breaking the bread habit. Saved me more than once and now is a nice school/work snack alternative to vending machines.
2 cups broken wheat/gluten free pretzels (check health food store/market of choice)
1 cup raisins
1 cup walnuts
1 cup macadamias
1 cup almonds
1 cup chopped dark chocolate bits (any really dark chocolate chopped into 'chip' size)
1 cup broken banana chips (make sure they are the good kind and not over sugared)
Any other Primal Happy snack that is dry and takes my fancy at the time.
This mix saved me time and again. It is not the absolute best of Primal...but it will save you a bread binge if you are transitioning into a Primal lifestyle. I very often take a baggie of jerky with me as well....a handful of this mix and a strip or two of jerky and I am good to go....wide awake and thinking straight too...not like those sad little latte addicts.
