The Disrespecting Women Has Got To Be Through
To All The Mothers And the Sisters And The Wives And Friends
I Want To Offer My Love And Respect To The End"
Hey Ladies, Happy Mothers Day!
Been off my game for the last week or so, that mtb crash, along with the subsequent sinus infection I've been fighting through has kept me less active on the fitness end of things then I feel comfortable with, but been trying to get outside with the fam. Tried out Wii My Fitness Coach today, did a small amount of yoga & cardio with it, found it useful and surprisingly more difficult than I would've estimated originally. How much of that is me feeling under the weather as opposed to being undertrained, is left to be seen.
DW is taking a nap after church and some family time. Just going to be a restful Mothers Day at the house.
Just wanted to give a shoutout to Spark friend, GUNNSGIRL91303, who after reading my blog and my frankly gross pic showing my trail rash from going over the bar, sent a sample of her botanical healing salve,
Gone With the Wound (always have to show appreciation for the clever turns of phrase)
It never ceases to amaze me how supportive, inspirational, thoughtful and helpful the vast majority of users on Spark People are, so if you have a second, check out her Sparkpage, blog and cool homemade herbal products.

There will always be small setbacks, temporary hurdles, social/mental/emotional impediments, the question is how we respond and plan a course of action to address those challenges. Persevere, because you don't know if when you turn back, you were only one step away from what you wanted to achieve.
Hope you are all meeting excellent progress on your programs, that you've been able to plan and work through the adversity, and that you're taking heart from the work that others on here are doing every day. I know I am. Have a great week!
