I went into Uxbridge today, the first time since MIL became ill so about 3 months, mainly for a walk in the sun (yes it has finally made an appearance) while DH caught up with F1 today.
Bought a few bargains and made a mental note of some tops Iíd like and some Capri pants for the summer.
Came back and had a nice lunch and decided to cut the lawn. It was then I got a shock of how neglected the garden had become because of all the hospital visits and the bad weather too, so I spent a couple of hours out there all told but I havenít even made a dent in it.
Itís going to take a good day out or so out there I reckon, so tomorrow, weather permitting, thatís where Iíll be. With my bikini on hopefully so I get tanned at the same time as a good workout. Later 2moro we may go back over to MILís and see her GS for a catch up, but itís not a given, I think if it IS sunny Iíd rather crack on and get the jungle sorted.
DHís eyes are playing up again and yet he joined me in the garden this evening and got some netting up for the clematis and helped chop back the forest of nettles that had grown out of the composting area for me. I canít do any gardening if I donít have access to that, so that was really helpful of him.
Weíve ordered some strong boxes for all the stuff SIL wants shipped over to Eire (they should arrive Monday) and DH bought a gadget to transfer all the transparencies to our computer so if the weather turns crappy again Iíll have more than enough to be getting on with- there are zillions (slight exaggeration but certainly thousands) of transparencies and I have a nasty feeling DH would like them all doneÖfor posterity. Oh well itíll keep me out of mischief!
So now, just getting some sparking done, and this blog, then Iím joining DH on the sofa and will let whatever passes for Saturday night viewing on the goggle box wash over me, then bed.
And those of you nursing illnesses todayÖÖ. get some rest, hopefully sleep well 2nite and feel better 2moro. Nite!
