good blender??

Saturday, May 12, 2012

Hi! : ) Can anyone recommend a really good blender that does a good job for making shakes and smoothies? one that is tough enough to combine spinach with greek yogurt, and fruit and maybe protein powder? Thanks : ) Have an awesome day.

This little blender from amazon is pretty cool. I use it to make green smoothies for my morning commute.

A more powerful one I use is this one by Waring

The cadillacs are the Vita-Mix and Blendtec....but they cost 3x as much

Just about any blender will combine spinach and yogurt; if you get into tougher things like ice cubes, ginger root etc. you might need a Ninja or Magic Bullet. If you really want to be *fierce* with the smoothie, sthe "Cadillac" blender is the Vita Mix.
Enjoy your smoothies- they are a great treat :-) emoticon
