Wednesday after work I went to the chiropractor for my weekly appointment. During that appt we were talking about how people like to take short cuts with medicine, blah blah blah. At that point he referenced my insulin. I looked puzzled, but let him finish his point.
My point: I'm not on insulin. Or any medication. Nothing. At all. Thanks, dude!
Basically he called me a fatty-mc-faterson. Dang. I corrected him, and said he must have just assumed since my family history is loaded with diabetics, however, not me!
So, thats the bad. I felt sad inside...
But, after that, I headed to the grocery store where I used to work to pick up some things. I was about 3 steps in the door when I saw one of my old managers. She looked at me, didn't even say hi, and said "wow! Lookin' good girl, have you lost weight?!"
YAY! I hugged her. :)
The best: she is right, I have lost weight - 25 lbs in 7 weeks!!!
But, the scary thing is, I weighed this same weight on 10/6/11. So, that means in 7 months I gained 25 lbs, and lost 25 lbs. Thats a LOT of weight to be fluxing in such a short time frame.
So, my June 16th goal (for the challenge that I'm in) is to be 184. The last time I weighed that: June 8th of last year. WEIRD, right?! It'll be one year that I go all over the freaking board.
Lets review.
2011 start: 188
2011 lowest: 180
2011 finish (and highest): 205
2010 start: 178
2010 lowest: 171
2010 finish (and highest as well): 189
2009 (when I started spark): 225
2009 lowest and finish: 177
Ya'll see that trend?! 2009 went Down-down-down-down-down.
2010 went UP.
2011 went UP.
2012 is going DOWN!
2012 start: 204
2012 highest (march): 222 (wow, right?)
2012 current: 196.
2012 goal: 147.
If I can stay with this. If I can stick this out. It's possible. I can do this! Its technically only 1.3 lbs per week.
I've got to do this.
I must do this.
It's time!
