I lost 1.6 pounds this week. Before then, my last loss was on April 20. Not earth-shattering, but I'll take it!
Not a big loss, but my muscles are definitely stronger - arms and legs from lifting, shoveling, etc. The gardens look beautiful, and there is more to do, but the BIG stuff is over.
More importantly, I am changing shape. DH & I met some friends we haven't seen in months. One woman said: I don't know what you've been doing, but keep it up! My smallest skinny jeans are now droopy. I used to keep my debit card in my left rear pocket to keep it handy. No more - a lot of the padding there is gone, the card got bent.
The best thing is, I think, that because I was physically working so hard, it made it easier to keep on plan, and think about everything I ate; easy to decline temptation. I just have to keep on plugging along, step by step, inch by inch.
