My first entry! Sorry if I babble!

Friday, May 11, 2012

Well, here I am 6 days into my new lifestyle, lol. I have lost 9 lbs, a lot is most likely water from cutting down my sodium intake. My fiance is sticking with it, also! Poor guy has never "dieted" so, he is kinda depressed and upset at being hungry. But, he is doing a great job, I am so proud of him! I am also so very, very happy he wants to be right along side me on this (our) journey to health. It means so much to me! I can't wait to see the look on his face when the number on the scale drops for him! Just to show that all this is not in vane! I am, also, quite excited to see my numbers drop. I hope that by his birthday in September I will be back to the weight I was last year on his birthday. Speaking of birthdays, mine is in a couple of weeks. I will turn 25 on the 25th. I am going to let myself splurge on ONE small cupcake. I mean, you only get one golden birthday, right?! Nah, I just figured I won't feel too deprived so I won't lose ambition! Well, that is my post, hope I didn't ramble too much!! Night!

The thing about blogs, is that they are like journals, but we share them. =) They are not only to share our experience to others, but they are also self therapy in letting out emotions. You didn't ramble one bit. =) I am glad to see you and your fiance are doing this together! That is always added motivation and accountability that never hurts! 9lbs in 6 days is WOW! The most I have ever lost in one week was 7lbs. So good for you. Even if it is water weight. =) And emoticon on your first blog with SP! =))

Lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one prone to rambles! Yeah, that is my prob with getting to a pool, too. I grew up in apt buildings with pools most of my life, so since I moved out of the last one in 2006 I have been in pool withdrawal, lol! I am a water baby! When ever I go for walks I think about the t-rex, makes me laugh! Thanks for reading and leaving such a nice comment! Hope you are having a great night! emoticon

That I don't consider rambling or babbling... I tend to do that a lot too btw.. I feel like swimming too... Good thing is. I getta go tomorrow... Still debating on joining an aqua aerobics class... Kind of hard to fit in when the y is 20 minutes away... and Hubby has the car all week for work.. Good for you for trying to do the healthier way of loosing weight... And i like your t rex chasing the little dood yup that would make me move too.. LOL emoticon
