I work in Higher Education, so spring is award season. For some lucky reason, I won an award last year and this year.

It is clear from both photos that I am uncomfortable receiving awards . I am a ham, but like to do the presenting and not the receiving. Notice how I am trying to hide in 2011, but not so much in 2012??

The photo from 2011 is out on our school's website. Embarrassed? Nah .. but, this picture is significant. The 2011 picture, and the Doctor's warning, woke me up. I knew I wasn't overweight and believed I looked like I look today. Funny the games my mind was able to play on me.

Pictures.. well, their truth is sometimes hard to take! I now have to work on that posture!
