to my new blog. What has been happening? I've been looking after my elderly nan. I've also been
. I've also had a job and lost it again, due to the recession.
Now on Sunday, just gone, I went for a
along the Railway Walk from Wombourne to the Dudley boundary, which was very muddy in places. The Railway Walk, is a walk along the old railway line that ran from Oxley (Wolverhampton) to Kingswinford Junctions. It is an 8 mile walk along embankments which are lined with trees and looks very rural in spite of being near the urban areas. The walk only goes from Oxley to Baggeridge Junction, which was the junction for the Earl of Dudley's Railway line from Ashwood Basin to Baggeridge Colliery and Round Oak Steel Works. The two systems closed in the 1960s.
for reading my blog.
for now, Jason.
