No time to track/eat when Rescuing dogs

Friday, May 11, 2012

I heard from someone in my Shiba Inu meetup group that there were two 1 yr old Shiba Inus in the pound who would not eat/drink and were terrified. Within 20 hours we got a wonderful Rescue Group to back us in pulling these two. They are now happy thriving in my home and have 2 families coming to visit them Saturday. I haven;t slept more than 4 hrs and have no time to eat since getting them cleaned happy and adjusted but would do it again and again!

I think they may be vegetarinas ;) They loved eating my organic cat grass I grow for my kitties

They are my first rescue. Someone once told me that the animals you rescue know what you have done and you can see it in their expression. I now know this. I have never felt so much gratitude from an animal in my life. It breaks my heart but gives me hope...

That is so sweet of you to rescue those pups. You are a fantastic person to put their needs first. I had a rescue fail so I can't have any more dogs in the house....
