Finishing up the Spring 5% Challenge

Friday, May 11, 2012

Had my last weigh-in this morning. All that's left is to do my tracking for today for my exercise and fiber, and then we're done. Right?

I did not meet my goal of 186 pounds unfortunately. I weighed in this morning at a depressing 192.2. Lost less than 2 pounds in the last 8 weeks. Still I am down lower than I was a year ago, just not by much.

Maybe I should sign up for Slowest Loser team next. I don't know. I am getting ready to do some weekly challenges. We'll see if I do any better with that. Wish I could have done better for the Daisies team.

I know what you mean, I feel I haven't done enough for my team either. But like you told me yourself - each member makes his/her own contribution, and it's valuable :-)

Hope you have better luck with the summer weather and abundance of fresh veggies this summer.
To tell you the truth, I had to give up on all those fun challenge type things as I tried my hardest and felt like I let my teams down when I didn't lose.
Find what works for YOU!

emoticon 2 lbs is better than no lbs lost.
Maybe switch up your excersize routine. I am taking a water aerobics class, I thought it would be too tame when I first stared taking it...but because it is different than my normal routine I have really been feeling it!!

Good luck on your journey! emoticon

    I felt I didn't do as well as I'd hoped I would.
2 lbs. is better than my less than 1 lb.

Imagine what happens if you don't even do the challenge.

Do you know what was the reason of your weight gain?

Do come join the Slowest Loser! I found it through the Slowest Loser's blogs, and since I enjoyed the blogs, I thought I might enjoy the team. It's a very friendly bunch!

Hey, 2 lbs in 8 weeks may not set records but it's better than nothing or gaining. You have done great this round with working towards your goals. I am so proud of you for sticking it out and not giving up!
