Ayyyy yaaayy yyaaa. Last night was BRUTAL. And I mean brutal in capital letters, brutal. It had been a good 2 1/2 hours since I had eaten, but OH MY GOODNESS. Having anything even resembling food in my stomach while doing that was not pleasant. If I thought I might throw up on Sunday during the same workout, last night I really felt that way. Made Sunday look like a walk in the park. In fact, I took a post workout shot of me right in the moment and telling myself that I would NOT get sick....
I think that it was probably that much harder because I had done that cycling earlier in the day and my legs were already tired. Either way....holy crappola. But, I got it done and I was really happy about that. We also got the sons dinosaur diorama finished, cleaned bedrooms (they actually did a really good job) and washed some laundry. We did order pizza for dinner (for shame, mom!!) but I was really good, and I tracked what I planned to eat before it even showed up so that I would stay within calorie range, and ate only that and nothing more. It was good too, so I don't really feel all that bad about it. We got one with mushrooms, black olives and pineapple on it. Was scrumptious.
I was up at 4:00 am this morning (kinda sorta really proud of myself for this) and did Pure Cardio (this is bananas) and then Cardio Abs (more bananas). Thank goodness I only have to do that once every two weeks. I don't think I could handle it much more than that. Maybe once I am conditioned to it though. Because that 20 minute ab workout feels like it could really do some good for my tummy area. I may even do that on my rest days after I recuperate from this week. I am so thankful that tomorrow is a rest day....it is desperately needed.
I hope that everyone has a great Friday!!! I probably won't be on that much this weekend. We have a house full of kids showing up tonight and staying until Sunday, so I will be a busy little bumblebee. Happy Mothers Day to all you Mommas out there!
