Well, I sat down and wrote the checks for some of the local races I want to do. Since I trained for distance rather than speed for the half marathon, my time for the 5k is about 4 minutes slower than last year. I feel like I am starting fresh now.
MY first 5k of the season is May 19th. I have been running about 34 minutes on my trial runs, so my goal is to come in under 33:00.
