I have been having a rough time lately with the scale. I have been eating right and exercising like I should and the scale just doesn't want to budge. I am stuck right at 180 and can't get below it.
I was thinking about this while cleaning the house and getting ready to leave to run errands yesterday morning. I walked into my bathroom to get changed as I usually do. I looked in the mirror and I was surprised at what I saw. My hips were actually looking smaller. So I turned to the side to see if anything else looked smaller. And sure enough my behind and legs also look smaller! For me, one of my goals is for my behind to be smaller. I have always hated how my backside looked and for it to be getting smaller is a big deal. Also, I have always had cellulite on the back of my legs that has drove me crazy. It is also starting to go away!
Anyway, my point is: don't always focus on the scale. You are probably losing inches even if the scale is not budging. So don't get discouraged when that scale doesn't move. You are probably just gaining muscle and that is why it isn't changing.
