so, i've been tracking for 2 days now, breakfast and lunch... dinner always seems hard, cause, again, mom has been cooking just whatever and not giving any thought to portion size, even after i have talked to her! i love my mom, and she means well, buuuuut .... working on drinking my water and doing good, it seems hard with school, since i'm not at my desk all day. as for i didn't get home till after dark, and there isn't any street lights on my route :( my friend told me about a zumba online that i'm going to look at tonight... just need a place/way to do it hmmm... its on :)

    It will get back to normal! Eat where you feel comfortable and leave the rest. Doesn't mean you love her or her food any less. :)

    Hey hang in there my mom doesn't consider me when she's cooking either. Try, serving your self you can buy sets of mesureing spoons that look like ladles and come in 1/2 cup cup and 1/4 cup sizes. Pick and chose what you want from what your moms making, to build your plate. Like the main course or one of the sides have that then bulk it up with a side salad or microwave just a portion of veggies for yourself. I usually portion out some of my protein choices when i get home from the store into individual baggies then toss them in the freezer. I can pull one out and cook it with veggies in the oven by using spices and herbs i can flavor that nights meal however I want. You can overcome a food pushing mother. Your the one who makes the choices here. :-) best of luck! P.S. Zumba is tons of fun!
