Scale Obsession

Thursday, May 10, 2012

I've been obsessing over the scale way too much this week. Everyday I've been checking my weight, despite having promised myself I'd only check it on Saturdays.

Having really really worked out hard in aerobics everyday I keep expecting my weight to go down a bit...but it is the same every morning. I've varied my routine up lately. I really hope this isn't the infamous plateau. emoticon

I really want to get my weight down to a point where I am more comfortable. *sigh*

I'll admit it is getting me down a bit. I've been working SO hard lately.

Hang in there!! How do your clothes fit? Are you taking your measurements? Measurements will tell the story much better when that scale doesn't seem to want to budge. Take a look at that pic on my page...I weighed about 145 in both of those pictures. The weight on the scale is only part of the story...you need to take a look at the rest of the story.

Be blessed!

hang in there..there are indeed times when the scale is not your best friend..
a tape measure is a much better way to judge fitness..measure your waist ..if you must daily..but weekly is best.
a pound is a pound, but a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. Thus your waist can be going down down down...without any loss of poundage! It is a better meausre of fitness as well.
Do not let that scale knock you off track!
