Lost in the World of Books

Wednesday, May 09, 2012

In the last week I've read six books. My mind has needed to be occupied with thoughts of something other than weight loss, deployments, and upcoming moves. I've been scarce, using my free time to feed my reading habit. It's been awesome, but now I'm ready to be back in the swing of things.

I've fallen off the tracking wagon. The good news is that I've continued to lose weight, and I've tried to continue making healthy choices. No pop and no french fries!

I've been hitting the gym a bit harder lately. I think it's starting to show.

Army Birthday Ball is about a month away. Time to start shopping for a dress. I'm a little bit nervous to be trying anything on. I almost don't want to know what size I am.

I march in place while reading now, so that I'm still exercising. Just a thought for something you might want to try next time you get into a reading kick. It made me feel better than just sitting around reading.
