I Did It!

I went to the gym and worked out hard for 2 hours! I then went to a pizzeria and ONLY HAD A CUP OF COFFEE then I got home and had NO BIRTHDAY CAKE!!
I can't believe that I actually did it!! I am so proud of myself! I think I really see this as a turning point in my life!!

    Its cool that you exercised control and that you are so happy with it.

And please don't be offended at what I'm saying.

But these "diet" things are what keeps us from losing weight then KEEPING it off. Ya know? Unless you can say you will work out 2 hours a day for the rest of your life, and never eat birthday cake again, and drink coffee while everyone else is enjoying pizza, for the rest of your life, you won't be able to keep the weight off that you have lost this way.

The only permanent weight loss--and I'm talking PERMANENT--comes from making changes that you can sustain. Like stopping on one slice of pizza and limiting pizza outings. Like having a small piece of cake, or only a bite or two. These are changes you can keep up forever.

Just my 2 cents. I have lost and gained a million lbs. This time I am making small changes that I think I can sustain, so that I won't gain it back again after I lose it.
