Oh sore...

Wednesday, May 09, 2012

This time the soreness is in my arms. I'm not sure why it took 2 days to show up, but holy toledo...I'm not sure if I'll be able to do my strength training tonight!! :-P

The rocky part to my day I think will be the fact that my mom bought a few 'regular' frozen meals. Like the one I have today is a mac and cheese with bacon. Sounds good right? Well it's 350 calories, which means I don't get any yogurt or a dessert, because then my dinner would be teeny tiny. Last night it wasn't enough as it was, but I managed to stay away from snacking.

So another NSV that I'm having a great deal of joy with every week or so is adjusting my bra. I went to Catherine's, and the biggest size there wasn't even big enough around my bust, I had to get an extender. Well I noticed that it was rubbing funny, and once I tightened it one eyelet, it was much better. Well since then, I've gone another eyelet in, and if I keep this up, I'll be fitting into the ACTUAL BRA soon!!! That would be awesome!! I may have to go get more at that point though because these are like a year old and they are kind of stretched (the eyelets are in danger of ripping out, I already changed where the extender sits once :-P)

I've also had a horrible time with my HS the last couple of days. One just in the right spot so I have to half limp to get anywhere. I'm so glad I bought those running shorts with the layer underneath, I can't even feel any pain when I walk anymore. :-)

Oh, and I broke down and told Keenan what I'm up to...I couldn't hold it in anymore!! I'm not going to tell him how much I've lost, but I have told him that I'm trying to get healthy, and he had the concerns I thought he would (don't kill yourself working out, and don't lose too much at once) but I think once I told him that I'm on a website (I didn't say which one, then he could probably find me and all these blogs about him!) he trusts what I'm doing.

Sooooo back to work...in a week I will be DEEP into Diablo 3, and that walk next Wednesday is going to be a mother to try to get in...I'm not going to want to move out of my chair until I have to!!!! :-P emoticon

OMG! emoticon I am not big in the bust. lol But..I was as excited as you when I noticed a change there too. It's hard to describe, but there was fat on my sides in my bra. Make sense? Well, it's gone now emoticon emoticon emoticon

I'm super addicted to a particular video game right now, too. I find that it really helps me to forbid myself from playing it until I've done my exercise for the day. After that, I don't feel bad for sitting on the couch to play for a few hours!

Plus, they say that taking a short break every few hours actually improves your game play. My C plays a lot of FPS and after a few hours if he gets up and has a quick 15 minute walk, he plays a LOT better when he comes back. Maybe you could break your walk up on Diablo day! Maybe do four 15 minute walks, one every other hour?
