Friends!

Wednesday, May 09, 2012

My friends had turned on me. I felt my world was ripped into. I was overwhelmed and my faith was gone. I was looking at the problems, my heart was broken, and i was full of grief and pain but my Savior and His Word came to light. Then I looked to the Lord and asked for forgiveness. I by faith then saw the victory. Trouble may come at us from every side but when God is with you He is bigger than all the problems.

Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: K.J.V. in public domain

Devotional thought: What a comfort to know: No need to big. No problem to big. No enemy to large. Nothing is to hard for Him.

Thank you, Jenny. I have had a problem with my church sisters that I love. A disagreement about Twilight, Harry Potter etc. They think it is ok. I do not and we are all on the church leadership team. (I wrote you for prayer about it previously) I have to have a discussion in love with them but I cannot back down. The Lord showed me so much in the story of David and Goliath!
1) size does not matter in battle! Instead see the issue clearly instead of the adversary.
2) do not "take on" anyone's discouragement as you prepare for battle David's brother raged at him but David turned away and spoke to someone who would listen to him.
3) Remain focused on the truth. Do not waiver. STAND
4) Do not lose heart. The battle is the Lords!
5) Remember the ways that the Lord has delivered you in the past and believe that he will do it again!
6) David went to fight with what he was comfortable with--not someone else s equipment.
7)David did not hesitate, he spoke boldly, he spoke of God and got to the point.
8) With faith do what you came to do.
Let the Lord work from there! OFF WITH THEIR HEAD! Kidding! Just kidding!

I love the Devotional thought. When I start feeling overwhelmed with the loss of my Hubby's job, I remember God is always with us, helping us every day. We really have been blessed. Thanks Jenny!

Just when you think your entire life and world are falling apart and gone forever more then and but God......He turned it all around for me more then once and so many times I have lost count.

I don't know how anyone can live in this world without Jesus in them.

Great beautiful blog.
