Day 129: Fat Suit Motivation?

I was thinking the other day, too bad I couldn't get a 40 pound fat suit to put on to remind myself how far I've come sometimes. Just to walk around in it for awhile. I love that it's been just a little loss each week so that way it will be more likely to stay off but since it has been nice and gradual I think sometimes I forget how far I've come. It would be nice to throw that suit on and say, See you've come this far, you can manage the rest of the journey. I did find this picture..

So I've lost 2 of those bottom shelf blobs. lol! Pretty isn't it? :P

I'm feeling pretty motivated right now. I hope it sticks! :) Mother's Day is my motivation for the week. The best present for me will be to have had a good loss. Again, nothing huge, something that will stick, but a good loss. :) I CAN DO THIS!!!

Oh, I made homemade hummus for the first time yesterday and it turned out really good! I had been wanting to make HM hummus forever so I'm glad I finally broke down and tried it. Yum!

    That is so disgusting. I have at least two of those big blogs all over my body to lose, yuck ! That motivates me to keep going and get it out of my body. I want to try making hummus as well.

    You have come such a long way. 40 lbs is a HUGE difference in your health. I love making my own hummus. You can make it any flavor you want and as spicy as you like. I'm a super spicy girl and the commercial brands are never spicy enough for me. Glad you found it easy.

    Yesterday I picked up my high school age son's backpack and it was heavy, stuffed with books. I decided to weigh it to see what he's been carrying for the half mile walk from the bus stop. It is exactly 20 pounds. Fill and carry a backpack around for awhile and be shocked by the weight when going up stairs!

    Want to know what you lost? duct tape 1 10lbs weight to your back, 2 to your stomach and 2 5-pound plates to each buttock!

    My husband said to me last night that when I reach my goal I will have lost my son. My son weighs 80 pounds, to get to my goal it will be 74 pounds.. He told me at that point to pick him up and walk around with him.. When you look at it in that perspective, it is surreal. I've been walking around with so much extra weight for most of my life. It is motivation. I want this so badly this time and it's not for vanity, it's for my health. It makes a big difference.

Great blog, I've lost 2 of those big blobs too.. it's gross!!
