Today's update

Today I got some extra walking in, which I haven't been doing in FOREVER. I recently bought some new walking shoes, and it was a comfortable walk. I didn't overdo it, which I have almost always done in the past. I seem to have that crash and burn mentality, and the first time I head out I am overly ambitious, and then I am super sore the next day and then I just give up. But today I didn't do that. I took two different walks and my goal for this week is to walk 5 miles for the week. I know it is something I can manage. I need to feel like I can accomplish some of these little goals so that I can set bigger goals in the future.
One thing I have been horrible at is drinking water. AND today I drank regular soda twice- What the heck was I thinking? Anyway, tomorrow's a new day, hopefully I can manage to drink some more water.
