This and that:

Its been a while, Just one more week of physical therapy. Getting started on working out and getting myself back in shape. I gained while I was off, hubby did everything for me! Love the man! Belly,s bigger tho. I need to connect with these teams again, and everyone. Getting my mind set.... But hubbys retired now, how do I make a routine??? He doesn,t stop me, but he,s there. I wear my clothes baggy tho, I don,t like to see rolls of loose skin. So I really have to start weight training! Been looking at Tosca,s clean eating recipes, I live in an apartment, so I don,t have a place to put all this stuff, then preparing 5 mini meals, but 1 hot pepper, what do we do with the rest. I,d be cooking and doing dishes all day. Thats not me, It seems like we need to do the tried and true.....My refridgerator isn,t big enough. One meal is yogurt with milk and protein powder, or a shake. Any thoughts???

So happy you are on the road to recovery! I am not familiar with Tosca's recipes, but because I cook differently for me than the rest of my household, I do some batch cooking. I usually do 4 to 6 cups of brown rice and either dry black beans or pinto beans and then freeze in 1/2 cup portions. I freeze them in sandwich bags so they don't take up much room in the freezer, and then just defrost to use. It makes a quick meal with a small chicken breast or piece of fish for dinner.

I'm glad you're making progress with your physical therapy! Yay! I don't have any ideas about the food situation as I live in an apartment too. I hope you can find a solution.
