My Challenge Name: Do You Want This Or Not?
My Starting Weight: 192
Four Other things I will be measuring during this challenge & their current stats:
1. Body Measurements
2. Fitting into size12 clothes
3. 5K time
4. Push up max (upper body)
If I am going to be 100% honest with myself, the reason I am doing this challenge is because:
I stopped trying after I reached a “goal” date in October. It is now May, almost 7 months later and I have been ˝ a$$ing. What a freakin’ waste. I’m done wasting time. Do I want this or Not? YES!
I feel like the reason that I have not been progressing as well as I hoped I would be is because:
I haven’t been committed and I make excuses. I can’t get in the routine because I lost my “drive”. My big push was to get to October and I did well, so after that, just sat back. Maintained what I lost, but I still need to lose, so here we go again.
This time, I commit to finishing my challenge because I know that:
I will be better, stronger, and happier for it. I need a swift kick in the pants and this is gonna be it.
I'm scared of:
Failing again. That I’ll never meet my goal. That I am unable to commit to anything.
I want to:
Feel worthwhile. Feel sexy. Feel strong. Like what I see in the mirror. Be happy.
But I have faith that:
I can do one day at a time. That by July 22nd I will weigh 175lbs. That by August 17th I will weigh 165lbs.That by October 31st I will weigh 150lbs.
And THIS TIME, I will NOT quit, because THIS TIME: I will commit myself to doing my very best on each day. I will approach it as if I am getting graded on that day and that day only.
My top five non-health related motivations right now are:
1. Getting to a full size 12 (no more 12/14 between sizes)
2. Wearing a single digit size
3. Completing the June 30th Hero Rush 5K obstacle course
4. Feeling sexy for my husband.
5. To run a mile without stopping.
The best way to motivate me is to:
Remind me that it will be worth it. That I can just say NO!
The best way I can motivate myself is to:
The feel of my clothes getting bigger. To tell myself: If this is your last day on Earth, is this how you wanna go out?
My name is Cindy and I will complete this Challenge on a Day-by-Day basis. Low-carb. High protein. DAILY exercise.
