I finally decided to do weights last night. I missed out on Zumba because I was starving after work. I ate, I watched Eureka, yeah I didn't make Zumba.
But that's ok because I have ChaLean Extreme. So two hours after I ate an early dinner, I dusted off my 10 and 15 lb weights, popped in Burn Circuit 1 and went at it.
I love doing weights. I love when sweat just runs down my face, my arms. It's been a couple of months since I've done ChaLean Extreme but only 3 weeks since I've done weights. Here's what I noticed:
1. My legs are stronger. The dumbbell squats? I use to hurt like no one's business in my quads and thighs, now not so much.
2. I need to focus on my form more when I do lunges. For some reason my right knee kept tweaking last night. Not the when it was in front doing the lunge but when my right leg was in back. Weird.
3. I still hate reverse flys and lateral raises. :/
Today I try cardio. But there's no Zumba today. Turbo Jam then I guess?
