i did the 5k in 5 weeks spark challenge ... and i finished it today ... i was supposed to finish it with a race, but i just ran 5k for time ... and i did it in 35 and a half minutes ... since my goal was do it in 36 minutes, i feel like i won ... my big worry was if i ran a real 5k race on the road with lots of other people, just finishing it wasn't going to make me feel this good ... so ... soon, i am going to start another 5k training program, to work on increasing speed and endurance .... once i feel comfortable, i will absolutely do a race ... i am feeling fit ... but not yet brave .... but i suspect that will come with time ...

    An a actual 5k is a must! It is so empowering and there are so many fitness levels doing it. I bet you will love it!
