Pizza night

Tuesday, May 08, 2012

Ok so piazza is not a diet friendly item. But with the addition of flax seed & Quinoa flour to the dough the crust can be healthy. I make homemade piazza all the tme. Making the carve better is another step in the right direction. I am going to use Pedro reciepe in the book instead of tomato sauce. So tonight is a green garden pizza. I am going to make the Quinoa flaxseed piazza crust on both pizzas. Mine will have green sauce and their red sauce. Knowing my daughter she will have to try mine as well. Until the next recipe.

Ok I made the crust & did not tell anyone about the quinoa or the flaxseed. It turned out really nice. I did use All Purpose Flour & not. Whest. I am going to use it next time. I could not use the better than Pedsto puree. I will try it another time. They loved it. This one will be done several times

Sounds really good. I may have to try it. I am a non dairy person so mine would be without cheese. As my hd would say a non pizza. LOL Thanks for giving me the spark to try the quinoa flaxseed pizza crust. emoticon
