We had a great weekend at the beach. I had some chicken ready for the grill, pasta salad (which I can't eat since I'm gluten free), fruit, veggies and all kinds of good stuff. Being gluten free, I was able to pass on all of the cookies and cupcakes (except for a gluten free cupcake that wasn't even worth the effort). The funny thing is, spending all day cooking in the sun, fussing over all of the food, burned more calories than any workout I have done since strapping on my BodyMedia monitor. I've been through jujitsu, circuit training, boot camp, and none of them measured up to the caloric burn of throwing a party. Woo hoo, I'm doing this more often!!!
