Day ???? Trying new things

Tried some stuff this weekend and tonight. Some I will do again but others I will not eat ever again. I started a "try something new" weekends. Every weekend I have to eat something healthy but something that I have never tried before. So I was never a big fan of cottage cheese....never tried it because of the texture I think...and I tried it....it taste just like it looks. Next item we picked up at Whole Foods-Kale Chips....lol....it gets a NO and more NO's. I thought it was ok until I fully chewed it up and then this indescribable taste continuously filled my mouth and I was driving so I had to finish eating it. Ok now on the the last thing for Saturday-was HUMMUS...and I love it...I just wish I a flavored hummus but I even get up craving it...a winner.

Ok now it brings me to tonight....I need a carb for my dinner and there was the new bag of QUINOA and I put it in my rice cooker and poof it was done. I like it....not love it yet. I need to make it with other veggies and find some cool recipes to go with it. But for now I will use it as a staple.

    That's awesome - that you are trying new foods.

I'm not that adventurous and that causes me to eat some of the same things. I said I am going to try Quinoa and Couscous but haven't made that leap yet. I was happy a couple months ago when I found a protein/whey powder and granola/protein bars that I liked.

Keep up the good work - you are DA BOMB!!!!
