make hay while the sun shines

With snow always a possibility, I try to seize opportunities to get out and do yard work. Today I spent a few hours outside and my back is crying! But since we had snow on Saturday and the weatherman says we may get more in a few days, I thought I should enjoy the beautiful day today to dig and pull and clean and putter!

Bit of a slight tangent perhap but both comments made me think about how we are all creatures of habit. My life experiences cause me to think, speak, act, behave in certain ways and it is always a bit of a wake-up call when others are different or draw my attention to my "usual"s.
Yup, "I gotta be me" I'm singing at the top of my lungs! LOL

That concept applies to so many things. For example, when the weather is nice, it's time to go for an outdoors walk. Don't wait until it rains and then *wish* you could go out for a walk. Glad you seized the moment!

Snow? Here in Southern Quebec, we seem to be done with that. Where do you live?

Is it really true that only country raised people understand what this means?
