May 4th was Relay for Life for my area. My work had a team this year, the first time in 13 years. It was very special for us as my Lieutenant is fighting Non-Hodkins agressive A cell cancer. He is half way through his chemo treatments.
This is my sweet Lieutenant
We also had another reason to celebrate as my Captains son had Hodkins cancer and is a two year survior now
This is our honor guard
The campsite
The captain made this luminary, it is painted lime green for Hodkins cancer
We were to have something to sell, we needed $424 more dollars to make our $2,500 goal. My other Lieutenant is one smart cooke. We didn't have any lights around the track we walking so, so she went down to the local dollar store and bought a lot of glow sticks, glow necklaces, glow wands and glow swords. We made our goal plus one dollar.

My Lieutenant and the Captains son in the surviros walk, my sweet Lieutenant was just a bit emotional.
I am making an addition due to a sweet ladies request. This is a link if anyone would like to make a donation
