Ahh, a wonderful weekend it was! Friday I ran 2 miles on the treadmill. Friday evening we dropped the girls off with our friends for the weekend and headed off camping. Friday was just setting up. Saturday we went hiking for two hours and then we went canoeing. During our camping trip we saw deer, grouse and an eagle. We also had an uninvited guest looking for food. It was rather cute. We had a little chipmunk hanging around our site looking for food. He came up to me and smelled my fingers for food, then proceeded into our screen tent to look for more food. I eventually ran into him a few camp sites away and gave him what was left of my apple. Didn't see him again. LOL Overall it was as fun and wonderful as I had hoped it would be. We had a fire going in our firepit every chance we could. We grilled everything over the open fire. It was fantastic!!
Now, just getting back into the swing of things looking forward to another busy weekend next weekend.
