First Week

It has been an interesting first week! I started out browsing the web-site and was impressed by how easy it is to navigate and track.
I have tracked food before. But that was mainly just writing it in a diary. And I have usually tracked it for like a week or so before giving up. But last week I started tracking food here and oh my god - it was a lot different.
Boy was I surprised at some of them! I mean I cannot believe that one of the lunches that I used to have abt 2 times a week was almost 1200 caloris ! Really did not expect that.

Now that I am tracking food, I find myself concious when I eat as well. When I am tempted to put food in my mouth, a thought pops up that I'll have to track it and its going to add to the calorie count. I found that at least a few times, that was enough to avoid the food. Of course, there were also other times, when I still ate it anyway! Hopefully, at time goes on, I will make more and more healthy choices.

Another interesting thing that has stuck me a lot is "Consistency". Thats definitely been my missing ingredient.
So thats my motto for now -
Consistency Consistency Consistency !!!
