I did well on some things today and not as well on others. I was only able to walk for 8 minutes, when I finally got around to it. I guess I wore myself out today. SO here's what I am doing to make this better. I am going to walk for 10 minutes in the morning after snack and then again in the late afternoon for as long as I can up to 10 minutes. I am hoping to get a full 15 minutes a day in that way. My step count is very low today. Only 750 steps when my goal daily right now is 1500 . I will have to get up and move around more every day to increase this.

My calories were over today. I chose the wrong things for snacks and added over 400 extra calories and also chose full fat greek yogurt instead of my LF regular choice. over 100 extra calories. I am still counting calories here as I am not joining Weight Watchers till Wed or Thurs of this week. They have a special offer on now that if you choose 3 or 6 months of Weight Watchers Online, they waive the registration fee. It is good until the 12th so I can take advantage of that offer.

I am in a more positive state of mind today. I realize that this is very serious for me and I need to pay attention and follow the plan to help me become healthier.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me these last few days and all of my support friends. I can make this work with your help. You mean the world to me.

    Hi Gini. I think you'll like weight watchers. Counting points gives you some room to eat what you like but you have to be smart about it and really really pay attention to the quantities.

The exercise program of 10 minutes morning and night moving to 15 is a good start and you can certainly build on that.

Keep your focus - you're doing fine.

Oh and thanks for your comment on my blog - we do indeed need to watch out for each other!!

    I've read in several places that it actually is better for our metabolism to break up the exercise, and do it in spurts throughout a longer time period, so you might be doing better and not realize it?

And you are doing well. You have good intent and a good plan laid out that is workable, plus you have DH going with you on this journey, and it's always easier with a good buddy. Plus you have US! And we have YOU! :D

Keep on keeping on... we can only do this one step at a time.

    You've got a great a plan there for getting in more steps. Short spurts are a great way to do that and it helps clear your head of any of lifes little stresses. It's good that you continued to track even if you went over you calories. Keep up the great work!

    I think you'll really like WW however in reality it's very similar to SP. A friend of mine joined and she said after she did she was shocked out similar it is to SP. I have known quite a few people who have lost weight with it my Sister included. It's a Life time Journey of eating healthy in the right portions with moving more. I'm here to support you as I struggle to move forward again.
