Cruising in a pizza/frozen yogurt/gently perfumed haze.

So, yeah, today has been excellent so far. Started with the gym, and a short but intense workout, then work, which was also weirdly short and intense. Then a Michele day! Every time I hang out with Michele, it's a blast. Instead of hitting the sushi buffet, we found the Lombardi Pizza Co. truck. It's certified Margherita D.O.P. which is the greatest pizza in the world. There's a damn wood fired oven IN the truck. You can't find better pizza than this in a bricks and mortar joint, and here it is, in a truck in Edison NJ. So weird. Also: the pizzaiolo is super hot, with dimples, icy blue eyes, and a great smile. I mentioned that I couldn't decide which was sexier, the pizza or the guy serving it... Anyway, a joyful lunch right on the trunk of her car. Then we did a few laps of the mall, walking very fast, bought indecent amounts of delicious smelling things at Lush, then we went out for frozen yogurt. Excellent day. I'm exhausted right now. I want to go play Rift, but I think I might go play "nap on the couch". Looking forward to Thursday, when I set up an appointment with Michele, a real deal half-day of tattooing. I'm finally getting my golden apple, and my viking girl colored in. I'm so excited!

This weekend went well. Went to Sad Giant's house, and I walked in and gave him a big hug. I always greet them with hugs, but I think he was surprised. I feel like it went a long way to melt the ice between us. He's got the potential to be a toxic friend, yes, but when he's good, he's a valuable friend. I drew a card ahead of time, and got the Emperor for that visit. Meaning someone was trying very hard to be good, and was very regimented and scheduled. He was super quiet for most of the evening, but not in an unpleasant way. In an observant way, I guess, watching the rest of us chat animatedly and goof around. He wrote me a nice note afterward about how much our friendship means to him. So, I suppose everything's cool. I'm not an icy bitch. I'm not a grudge holder. I'm also not a door mat. Everything was handled well.
