(I wanted to post that blog last night, but my Internet connection at home has been absolutely woeful lately. So Iíve typed it on Word and Iím posting it from work. Today is a Bank Holiday in England but Iíve volunteered to work. I get paid double for working on a Bank Holiday, and considering the state of my finances at the moment, every little helps. On with the blog...)

Here are a few recipes Iíve cooked this week and that I wanted to share with you:

1) Spicy lemon/turmeric chicken with vegetables, recipe courtesy of Clean Cuisine and More:

Brilliant! Chuck your ingredients in your slow cooker in the morning, put it on low and when you come back home after school, you are greeted by the most wonderful smell in your house and a hot supper!

2) Mixed Nut Butter, recipe courtesy of Oh She Glows: This is the first time I've made my own nut butter. It is SO much better than anything you can buy. My son absolutely loved it! (Sorry about the bad quality of the photo - I took it on my phone but it's not as good as my camera.)

As mentioned in Angela's blog, this nut butter takes forever to reach the correct consistency so if you want to try it, be patient, it'll get there!! emoticon

3) Unfortunately, not the best quality photo from my phone again. Roasted tomato and basil pesto, recipe courtesy of Oh She Glows: This is leftover pesto for next week. It is absolutely delicious!!

This is Tuesday's supper sorted, and it'll be ready under 15 minutes! Cook pasta, warm up pesto, mix, add grated parmesan (I'm French, you can't keep me away from cheese!! It'd be too cruel!! emoticon) and voilŗ!! Supper done!

I should have finished the Skinny Ms 7-day Summer Arms Challenge but Iím running one day late.

Skinny Ms have posted a 7-day Abs Challenge on Facebook. Iím thinking of starting this new challenge from next week Ė Iíve had a look at it and OMG, it is not for the faint hearted! Here is the link, if any of you are interested:

Will I be strong enough to do it? Eeeeek! I'm not sure but I'll give it a try starting Tuesday! emoticon

For all my British Sparkfriends, enjoy the Bank Holiday tomorrow. I hope the weather is nice. I will be working at the Library all day. Thinking that the Library will be mine, all mine makes me want to burst into an evil laughter... Mwah ha ha!! emoticon
If the building is still standing by the end of the day, putting me in charge will be seen as a wise decision. Otherwise..... emoticon

Hope all my Sparkfriends have enjoyed a fab weekend! emoticon

ps: Thank you for all the good luck messages regarding my recent job application. I'll keep you posted!
