Celebration - half a century!

I've just celebrated my 50th birthday and what a wonderful celebration it's been. It may have taken me 50 years to get here, but I realise how lucky I am to have such a wonderful family and friends and feel great!
My eldest daughter treated me to a lovely meal out followed by the theatre, to see Steel Magnolia's in Brighton - a lovely evening. A wonderful daughter too!
On the big day, I was treated to some lovely gifts, including 50 pence from my youngest daughter from her own money, a penny for each year (she's only 6) and the 50p was accompanied by some beautiful drawings and well written wishes! We also went out for a lovely meal in the evening.
Yesterday I was treated again to a family "do" - making me feel so very special and realising how lucky I am.
I may have put on a 1lb over the last couple of days with all my celebrating, but know that I can easily lose that again, by following all the wonderful lessons I've learned with SP over the last year, and feel healthy and confident and looking forward to my next 50 years!
