Good things are happening

My blood pressure is registering as normal. It's been pre-hypertension for the longest time, but I was actually normal for the first time in years. I know I'm still on the meds now, but the meds haven't changed in years and my BP is getting better. I'm stoked! The exercise is working. I'm still losing weight, my BP is getting better, I feel more energy. This is really working. Sure, it's not easy tracking everything (though it is getting easier) and I do have cravings but I have gotten past so many of them I know I can find a good alternative. As a matter of fact, I made Parmesan crisps for my daughter (a delayed birthday present), and I love those tasty little crispy rounds. I only had one. In the past I'd eat way too many, just mindless chowing down. I know better now. And I didn't feel deprived.

It's been 4.5 weeks, the results are still coming, and I don't feel starved, deprived, or depressed.

I can do this.

    emoticon on your progress emoticon Great news about your BP, weight loss and more energy. That's emoticon I've been in a downward slope in my journey, but I'm getting back on track. I also have to take BP meds, but I'm hoping that consistent exercise and mindful eating will allow me to discontonue them. Best wishes on your journey.
