SparkPeople stole my fitness minutes

Sunday, May 06, 2012

I'm lost here. I just entered in 231 fitness minutes for my 10-mile walk. Apparently SP can't hanlde that many minutes, so my SparkAmerica fitness minutes only showed up as 120 minutes. That makes no sense to me. Does it make sense to you? That's just not right. What do you think? Should I say something? I mean, I did the minutes, so why can't I get recognized?

How frustrating,it is the honor system that could be taken advantage of and most likely is by some, not you.But still you should get credit for what you did.I keep a calendar with blank boxes next to me and I jot these things down, just for this reason and I know what I did and for how long. emoticon job on doing that many minutes emoticon emoticon

If it won't accept more than 120 mins at a time, then you need to do it more than once. See if that helps anyway. Good luck!

I'm glad you figured out a way to add them in. Good job for walking 10 miles! emoticon

I'm just adding the 111 minutes to today's minutes. I won't be doing any fitness today, as I'm so sore from yesterday. This will at least give me minutes for today, and make up for yesterday's issue.

This really annoys me - I feel so cheated but apparently it's a safeguard. There's a leader board of various cities and their fitness minutes so Spark have capped the amount of time to 120mins per day. I assume to prevent anyone from logging any figure to get their city to the top of the board.

It's probably just the way that SparkPeople is programmed. Try entering your minutes as 120 minutes and then entering the next 111 minutes. For Sparkpoints the maximum number of minutes is 120 a day so that's probably where the error is coming from.

Yes you should. I know I have Personally entered more than 120 min for a single walk, so it should accept your 231. Way to go, that is a great accomplishment!
