Bleeding Hearts

I took these photos last week when i was feeling down. I spend a fair amount of time weeding my garden and maintaining it. But rarely do I take time just to enjoy. I was so glad I did that day, it really lifted my spirit. What do you do when you are feeling down?

So lovely! It's too bad we have to remind ourselves to enjoy nature and not just work in it.

Your pictures of the flowers and plants in your garden are really lovely Julie, your garden must be beautiful. I would imagine it would lift anyone out of a low mood.

When I'm down, I head to the Sea. Not where the tourists are, but to the quiet West Shore, I sit and watch the waves , and the Gulls, and I realise how lucky I am to live so close to all of this natural beauty.

By the way I was sad to see that you havn't been feeling to well. When is your appt with the Consultant? I hope that all goes well, I will be thinking about you.

Love Babs. emoticon

    lovely pictures julie!
When I am down in the dumps, well it really depends for me. spring, summer and fall, out into the yard to putter among my gardens, I find it very theraputic! But that s if I cannot get to the water, preferably the lake, but the ocean will do, never tried it but possibly a mudpuddle would too! lol
When I am near water, I am calmed with a deep peace as Thats where I communicate best with myself and God, and it may sound strange to some but thats the way it is for me. Thats where I feel closest to Him.
Winter time...I hibernate. Just like a bear lol I withdraw from the world, lock my doors( people just walk in here if I dont) and refuse to answer it. I'll come out when I am good and ready
